Freelance Product Assistant

Are you a quick starter that is used to working on small but ambitious projects?
We are looking for a freelance, part-time, project assistant for our ‘spy-adventure experiences’ for families and schools. We are a small, agile company with big dreams. We aim to empower children to shine bright by being their quirky brilliant selves and want to build a team that are already doing that. Our fun, innovative products are entertainment-based but include some super stealth learning to grow joy, confidence, collaboration, and creativity.
We are looking for a project assistant who will work closely with our Director to make sure the project, which involves taking our prototype to market, runs effectively and efficiently. It would be part-time and involve approx. 1-1.5 days a week in total across a week. It would be on a month-by-month basis till the end of March 2022, but there are opportunities for growth as we grow.
Your role will include the following:

Onboarding new team members, including contracts, setting up emails etc.

Managing collation of weekly hours, invoices for our funders.

Collating project expenses and project information in a pre-agreed system for our funders.

Arranging meetings including castings and playtestings if needed.

Creating and maintaining word/excel documents and company processes.

Proofreading of any external documents before they get released into the world.

Researching tools and systems that can make things better or easier as we grow.

Co-creating the customer service process and emails with our Director and other team members.

Occasionally, creating and posting pre-agreed content on social channels.

And pitching in with other tasks that need to be completed to take our product to market.
We are looking for a kind person who:

Is a quick starter and used to working in a fast-paced agile way as we playtest regularly and make changes based on our customers' feedback.

Can pick up company and funders processes quickly or help create new ones, where applicable.

Is tech-savvy and knows how to use business software including Gsuite. (Email, Drive etc), Microsoft suite, Zoom etc.

Can be flexible and adapts quickly to changing circumstances.

Enjoys remote working with a team that also does the same.

Can manage several tasks simultaneously and remain calm under pressure.

Excellent verbal and written skills, including spelling and grammar, and proofreading of documents.

Loves collaborating but can get on with things alone when needed.

Great attention to detail.

Loves making things simple and easy.

Has a can-do attitude.
It would be an amazing bonus if:

You have experience using Canva, Twitter and Instagram and Facebook.

And had worked with a b2c company before or product launch.
